Wine Shop Review: "The balanced taste profile of Clean Slate is created by carefully selecting grapes from vineyards throughout the Mosel. Grapes from the Lower Mosel provide mineral notes, while grapes from the Middle Mosel create a hint of spiciness and grapes from the Upper Mosel supply fresh, peach flavors. The result is clean, fresh flavor that is delicious with food and perfect to share with friends."
My Review: This Riesling smelled crisp and acidic to me, tart as well and a hint of sweetness. It tasted sweet and tart, with fruity hints and perhaps a bit of earthy undertones too. The main thing that struck me was how well balanced it was between its elements. It mixed super well between start middle and finish and nothing seemed to overpower the other elements. Very nice.
I had this wine alone without food.
